I have been in the graphic and web design field for over ten years and have been creating/crafting art since I could hold a crayon. I have a collection of over 40 vintage film cameras that I love and use often; I paint, I draw, I sew, I sculpt, I design, I code. I collect odd things like pre-1900 hard cover books, vinyl figures, anime and manga.

My art and photography has shown in several local venues and galleries around Rochester; my photography featured in both the Democrat & Chronicle and Rochester Magazine.

A geek at heart, I love all things tech and all things sci-fi; Among a few nerdy traits- I own a Tauntaun sleeping bag, I’m a hardcore gamer (my Xbox 360 handle is otakulab) and i can annoyingly recite most lines from LOTR AND Starwars.

I love life, my family and my friends.

Let’s start with the Otaku (oh-tah-coo) part.

Loosely translated, Otaku (Japanese in origin) means your house; your home - In modern Japanese slang, the term otaku is most often equivalent to "geek". I added the ‘Lab’ because I like making things. Put the two together and, VOILA! You have, ‘OtakuLab’.
